This job was an absolute pleasure to direct, not only because of the amazing script, but for a British institution like Cadbury! Creature agency were a dream to work with, from the get-go we were fully aligned with the creative, both pushing what could be done to get the best possible results. Lee at Vermillion films pulled out all the stops and made what was a challenging budget work, with his usual calm and pragmatic approach.

My aim was to cram as many Cadbury World attractions into the ad as possible, delivered through exciting transitions, to capture the imagination of our little girl narrating the story. Since I was commissioned to create a 30s ad, there was lots of animatics and camera tests to help convince everyone, my jam packed approach worked. I suppose the proof is in the ‘chocolate’ pudding!
